I have 59 years, I am the father of daughters and I dedicated my whole life to the private sector: consultancy, supply, Accounting and Financial Management, Report to Market Regulators, financing, mergers and acquisitions, Technological Projects and Human Resources.
I was a teacher in higher education in innovation, restructuring and internationalization. To the 34 years, I started to take over the global management of companies with international size and created business in 7 different countries.
I was able to bring together Portuguese investors and international funds in Portugal, also involving state investment agencies and European funds. All this generated real and lasting value. I always believed that there is no unique solution for anything. As Thomas Edison said: “Talent is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration".
What moves me is to build together, team, align people, share dreams and fight for them. This is, truly, one of the “my beaches”.
I practiced professional sports, I did theater and I was always linked to the associative movement. For me, ethics is essential and planning is increasingly determining. We have to respond with rigor and depth.
Today, Lagos faces a serious challenge: occupies an unsustainable position in the transparency and integrity rates. This compromises investment capture, sustainability and, above all, the confidence of the citizens in whom.
These are my pillars. I love lakes for more than 50 years and here I live. I am in a phase of my life where I believe I can be useful to the community.
And I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the energy, The determination and generosity of the Lagos with Future Movement. This is a group of worried citizens, United by a clear and inspiring leadership. Here I found something that thrills me: the strength of people who believe that lakes deserve more, What lakes can be different. This movement is not "more of the same", It is proof that together we can change the course of local power.
Lakes needs:
Improve the quality of tourism and diversify the economy;
Ensure decent housing, safety and health care of proximity;
Value the parishes and decongest the city center;
Strengthen cultural life, Heritage, sport and associative activity.
A vibrant community, aligned with a mobilizing view, It's the future I believe for lakes. But none of this will be possible without you.
