Dear Friends of the Parish of São Gonçalo de Lagos,
O My name is Claudio Henrique Figueira de Oliveira. I am lacobrigege and root, I have 45 years and my life is a reflection of the deep love I have for our land.
I was born and all my life was lived here, where I grew up, I built family and designed my future in Lagos - I know every street, every corner, Each smile and every challenge of this parish.
I am a businessman, but I am also a husband - though not officially - from an extraordinary woman who, With originality and love, has supported me in all challenges and victories. Father of two children who are my inspiring compass and pride and a luminous stepdaughter, that brings to our family a unique energy.
My connection to lakes is made of work and delivery. I am a 1st category volunteer firefighter, because I believe that serving is more than a duty - it is an honor. Sport runs me in the veins: I've been athlete, leader and coach, and even put on the referee jersey. I was at the Lagos Basketball Center, In the Júlio Dantas School of Corphebol and União Atlético Clube de Lagos. Always with the same mission: Create opportunities for everyone to participate, learn and grow.
My dedication to the community also took me to the Jean Piaget Algarve Student Association, where I fought for students' interests and activities.
In the last elections and during 4 years, I had the privilege of being elected to the Parish Assembly of São Gonçalo de Lagos, integrating the Lagos with Future Movement. There, I was an active voice, presenting motions, raising issues and proposing solutions always for the sake of customers and the community.
I'm focused, worker, humble and persistent. When an obstacle arises, I am not limited to regret - I always look for a solution. This is how I live, This is how I work, This is how I want to serve.
But I believe that lakes deserve more. Deserves more sports and children's parks. Deserves sports and associative activity to be for all, regardless of age or condition. Deserves a strong defense of the animal cause and more access and quality transports that unite and do not isolate our population.
I'm here to listen, act and realize. Because it is not enough to promise: It is necessary to do. My life proves that I don't get my arms crossed. I know how to work, I know how to lead and, above all, I know how to take care of lakes, Because lakes is my home.
Let's together show that lakes deserve more and that it is possible to transform our parish into a place even better to live.
