Dear Lacobrige,
My name is Luís Barroso and I am a candidate for the presidency of the Lagos City Council, in the municipal elections of 2025, by Lagos with Future Coalition.
This is not my first candidacy. As in 2013 e 2017, I present myself with sense of responsibility, For believing that lakes deserve more and better. I was opposition councilor for two terms, where I seriously represented all those who trusted me. I presented proposals, I questioned, I was present and all this is registered in the minutes of the Chamber.
I'm Lacobrigense, married, Father of two children and grandfather of three grandchildren. Degree in Financial Management and with an MBA in Business Management, Profession and citizen manager for vocation.
Candidate-me, again, At the request of many countrymen, that do not resign with the state that lakes arrived. Because lakes deserve more. Lakes deserves competence, seriousness and respect.
We last mandates, Lakes stagnated and, In many cases, retained.

The historical heritage is abandoned: Fort of Ponta da Bandeira, walls, sound, between others.
The beaches lose blue flags even after millions invested in the ETAR.
Promised 400 casas, delivered 29.
Direct adjustments without transparency, ignored or appropriate proposals.
Drinking water pipes on the surface in the historic center, Almost a decade!
Culture, Urban cleaning and strategic vision? Missing.
The Lagos Population has been patient. But patience has limits. To persist in error is not to govern. Governing is serving, And that's why I'm here: To return to lakes the course, the dignity and ambition that deserves.
Lakes needs more than promises, Need results.
Shortly, I will share my concrete proposals to a county with future. Because lakes cannot continue waiting.
Lakes deserves more.
