O My name is Margarida Martins.
I was born in Lisbon, but there is 30 Years I chose to make my home lakes. I have 60 years, I am the mother of two children, teacher and businesswoman. I have a degree in Chemistry and Postgraduate in Education Sciences, exercising the teaching activity in the area of physicochemical sciences.
Throughout my professional and civic life, I dedicated myself to the service of the community:
• I was president of the board and teacher at the Lagos Studies Center (THE);
• I chaired the Parents Association of the Naus School;
• I integrated the widecreated committee of the CPCJ;
• I was a member of the Lagos Municipal Assembly, by the Lagos with Future Movement, between 2013 e 2021, Performing functions as 2nd Secretary of the Bureau (2013-2017) and coordinator (2017-2021).
By Lagos with Future Coalition, I am now a candidate for the Municipal Assembly of Lagos.
I accepted this challenge because I believe deeply in the work of this coalition in defense of local democracy - a democracy that is a source of solutions, close to people and their needs.
It is a humanist view, Progressistic, unhappy and creative, moved by the genuine value of service to citizens, to our city and its future.
I am sure that all together we can raise lakes to the positive future we all want!
Because lakes deserve more - and together we can build this
future.
