Rui Leonardo
AND with deep conviction and enthusiasm that I hug this team and this cause that unites us, committed to service to our community, moved by the purpose of building together a future that we all deserve.
I'm Rui Leonardo, Environment Engineer graduated from the University of Algarve, entrepreneur in the area of environmental impact assessment and planning. Throughout my trajectory, I learned that true progress is born from the union between technical knowledge, strategic vision and, above all, commitment to people.
I am married to a Lacobrigine and proudly the father of two daughters who inspire me every day to fight for a fairer future, more sustainable and most worthy. It is in this city that they grow, the same as we all want to value - the place where we dream, where we create roots, where we want to see the next generations grow with pride and hope.
I deeply know the challenges and aspirations of those who live here and work. The municipality of Lagos has history, has talent and has extraordinary potential, that deserves a leadership that knows how to hear, act.
I bring with me the entrepreneurial spirit, the requirement of efficiency and the technical rigor I learned over the years. But also the ability to transform obstacles into opportunities. Because I believe the policy should be done with proximity, with concrete action and with genuine respect for people.
I defend a city aimed at its residents. A safe city, inclusive and with quality of life. May respect those who live in it and who invest in it, that simplify processes, that promotes innovation and create real conditions for the growth and well-being of each citizen.
I believe in a public service that serves, that listens and decides based on the real needs of the population. Because serving is more than managing, is to respect, is to honor the steps and dreams of those who build your way here.
I'm here to add. To work side by side with you. To help raise lakes to a level that proud, not just as a tourist destination, but as an opportunity territory, of social and future justice.
Because lakes deserve more!
