RUI RODRIGUES
O my name is Rui Manuel dos Santos Rodrigues, I was born in Lisbon ago 55 years, I am divorced and a devoted father to my three children. I have lived in the Algarve since 1990 and chose Lagos as my home in 2007.
I have been a nurse for more than 32 years, Having worked in both the public and private sectors. Em 2004 I had the honor of being the first head nurse of the first and only private hospital in the city of Lagos. From 2012 I am also a healthcare entrepreneur, through the management of a medical clinic in Albufeira.
Along this route, I have gained in-depth knowledge about the evolution of healthcare in the Algarve in recent years 20 years and I know well the real problems that the sector faces in the region.
In my free time I like to have gatherings with friends., exercise and walk by the sea.
I don't see myself in the current political system, That's why I'm non-partisan. I accepted the invitation to join this candidacy for the Municipal Assembly of Lagos because I believe it represents a true concern with resolving the concrete problems of our population..
As a resident of Lagos for many years, I have watched with sadness the degradation of living conditions in this city, result of inertia and inability of local authorities to respond to the real needs of the Lacobrigenses.
Because lakes deserve more
